New Orleans, LA (April 13, 2018) – Dr. Huang-Lionnet is a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in interventional pain management and was invited to present as faculty for the Cancer Pain Research Consortium’s (CPRC) 4th Annual Meeting held April 13-15, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She presented a CME lecture on “Spinal Cord Stimulation for Post-Cancer Survivors” along with fellow colleagues Jill Sindt, M.D. at University of Utah Pain Management Center and Hemant Kalia, M.D. at University of Rochester Pain Management Centers. This will be Dr. Huang-Lionnet’s second year providing a CME faculty lecture for the society.
Dr. Huang-Lionnet along with her colleagues Dr. Dickerman Hollister, M.D., Medical Director of the Bendheim Cancer Center-Smilow Cancer Hospital’s Greenwich campus and Dr. Alain DeLotbiniere, M.D. of Brain and Spine Surgeons of New York were accepted for their submitted scientific abstract entitled “Open Thoracic Cordotomy for Refractory Cancer Pain” that will be published in the CPRC’s Annual Meeting Publication Proceedings.
